DESCENT INTO CHAOS

CHAPTER 320: DESCENT INTO CHAOS
As the dust settles, you carefully descend the tree, your boots hitting the forest floor with a soft thud. The survivors, a ragtag group of hardened faces, glance your way, eyes filled with a mix of hope and suspicion. You raise your hands, palms open, in a gesture of peace. The clearing is still perilously close to the horde, and the air is thick with tension.

"Let's work together," you shout, your voice barely above the groans of the undead. The leader of the survivors, a grizzled man with a scar across his cheek, nods cautiously. Just as it seems an alliance is forming, the ground trembles again. The massive zombie, still lumbering in the clearing, lets out a guttural roar, drawing the attention of the remaining undead.

Panic spreads like wildfire. One of the survivors breaks ranks, sprinting toward the treeline, only to trip and fall. The other survivors hesitate, torn between saving their comrade and holding the line. The zombies, sensing weakness, begin to converge, their numbers steadily increasing.

You sense time slipping away, each second bringing the undead closer. The survivors look to you for a plan, desperation etched into their faces. The danger is looming, and you need to act fast before the undead crush any hope of escape.
All Choices That Were Available:
  • 1. Rush to help the fallen survivor, risking your own safety to pull them to safety. 😇
  • 2. Use the distraction to pickpocket the group leader, taking advantage of the chaos. 😈
  • 3. Set fire to the underbrush, creating a wall of flames between you and the zombies.
  • 4. Suggest a strategic retreat, leading the survivors to a nearby defensible position.
