LEAP INTO THE INFERNO

CHAPTER 322: LEAP INTO THE INFERNO
As the flames lick higher and the air turns hazy with smoke, you make a split-second decision. You shout to the survivors, "Follow me, or die trying!" With a deep breath, you sprint toward the blazing inferno, the heat scorching your skin even from a distance. Your heart pounds in your chest as you leap, propelling yourself over the burning barrier.

Time seems to slow as you soar through the air, the wall of flames roaring beneath you. The acrid smell of smoke fills your nostrils, and for a moment, you doubt you'll make it. But then, your feet crash into the ground on the other side, and you're rolling, tumbling through the dirt, singed but alive.

The survivors follow your lead, one by one, some managing graceful landings, others less so, but all making it through. The zombies, now split and confused, begin to mill around the burning forest, their path obscured by the blaze.

But the flames are spreading fast, the fire consuming dry leaves and branches with a voracious hunger. You stagger to your feet, urgency driving you forward. The survivors are coughing, eyes watering from the smoke, but alive. For now.

A sudden, deafening crack splits the air as a nearby tree, weakened by fire, begins to topple toward your group. You have only seconds to act before it crashes down, potentially crushing those who just made it through the fire.
All Choices That Were Available:
  • 1. Rush to push the nearest survivor out of the path of the falling tree, risking your own safety. 😇
  • 2. Escape alone, leaving the others to fend for themselves as the tree falls. 😈
  • 3. Attempt to catch the tree with a makeshift brace, using only your backpack and sheer desperation.
  • 4. Shout a warning and dive for cover, hoping the others react in time.
